Missions Service Ministries Maple Grove Covenant Church is committed to making an impact for Christ by caring for the needs of our community and world. Here are just a few programs and opportunities with which we are involved: Covenant World Missions is our means of financial support for world missions with designated support to: Randy and Ceryl Bevis in Thailand, Gary and Pauline Carlson in Japan, and Dave and Judy Dolan with Chinese Ministries. Covenant World Relief is an annual offering we take at Thanksgiving time to meet hunger and other crisis needs around the world. Covenant Pines Bible Camp is our denomination's year-round Bible camp. Campus Crusade is a ministry for college-age students. We provide monthly support for Nate and Lori Johnson and Debbie Say. SonScape Re-Creation Ministries is a ministry to those who minister. We provide support for Lary and Barb Magnuson and Perry and Jeanien Meyer. TreeHouse is a ministry for teens. We provide monthly support for Project Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship, making Christmas gifts available to children of prison inmates. C.R.O.S.S. (Christians Reaching Out in Social Service) is a local food shelf, clothing distribution, and crises intervention center. We also help to support the following ministries: Short Term Missions Projects for Students Thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours--the list goes on! Yet there is always a greater need for more volunteers and financial support to help the hurting people of our community and world. |
