		What are Small Groups?

		Volunteers Needed for Small Group Ministry:
	Why Join a Small Group? How to Join Childcare? No Problem! Types of Groups
		Assistant Small Group Coordinator We are looking for a person with a passionate heart for small groups to help start new groups, provide support to small group leaders and assist in further developing this ever-growing ministry. We currently have 12-15 active small groups and we have new people looking to join groups. Supporting this ministry can be fun and rewarding!

		New Groups Forming Soon! Maple Grove Covenant church has several active small groups. The groups vary in size, meeting dates, time, and frequencies. Most of the small groups are mixed (men and women/couples and singles). New groups are formed as leaders and members are found. There will be six-week starter groups forming during Lent.

					What are Small Groups? At Maple Grove Covenant it is our mission to make people more like Jesus. To do that we want to provide every means possible for believers to get connected in meaningful relationships with other believers.

		In small groups, believers care for each other, learn together, love each other and bear one another's burdens. The body of Christ is built up because all believers are given a place to exercise their gifts. Small groups strengthen our relationships with God and others. Additionally, as we learn to love each other and live in community, we show Christ's love to the world.

					Small Group Leadership Training Learn how small groups work and how you may be able to lead them. This training is for you if
		You are in a small group (commission, ministry team, youth group, men's or women's or couples); You currently lead a small group; or You think you might like to lead a small group some day. The training will be interactive and a great way to meet others with your same passions. Interested? Please stop by the Adult ministries kiosk, or contact the Church office for more information.
